Interaction

What does my sleep look like?

Below is an interactive graphing tool designed to help you visualise how sleep duration can affect the value of sleep. The graph is presented as a hypnogram. It is not intended to be hyper-realistic, but it should visually describe why long, uninterrupted sleep is so valuable.

Click and drag on the graph between a 'fall asleep' and a 'wake up' time. The graph will take these and generate a hypnogram between them. You will then be able to hover over the graph to examine the lengths of each stage of sleep that it generated.

To add another sleep, click the button below the graph when it appears. You can add as many sleeps to the graph as you like until the total sleep-time for the day is eight hours.
