Interaction

What affects my sleep drive?

The interactive graphs below illustrate the impact of different activities upon your sleep drive. The horizontal axes measure time of day (from 0:00 to 23:59) and the vertical axes measure chance of sleep (or sleep drive), where 0% represents no chance of sleep (you've just woken up) and 100% represents guaranteed sleep.

There are two seperate graphs to represent two consecutive days. This is to demonstrate how the changes to your sleep drive in one day are also present in the next.

Try clicking the buttons like "sleep in" or "add some exercise". This will add orange datasets to the graphs to depict how these activities would affect your sleep drive.

The "reset" button will remove the orange datasets, and the "change chart display" button will toggle the orientation of the graphs (either side-by-side or above-below).
